Who makes the best pizza in the Houston area? Look no further than Pizza Zone in Spring.
For years I passed this little place on Kuykendahl and didn’t pay it any attention. Then one day, I happened to be Googling for a place, ANY PLACE in town that had a gluten-free pizza I could eat, and I was shocked to find the little pizzeria around the corner listed.
While they do have a really good low gluten pizza, I can’t enjoy it as much as I like because of the tapioca starch inside the crust. However, the real gem at this pizza place is this amazing pie that often finds itself on my menu when I entertain friends at home.
Let me introduce you to the Chicken Alfredo pizza.
What’s in it. . . luscious cheese, spinach, creamy Alfredo sauce, and tender chicken. All situated on top of a delicious crust. Gluten-free, no way. Dairy-free, are you kidding? But it is so delicious, I still remember what it tasted like the time I stole a bite.
Next time you’re in Spring, stop by this place for takeout. You’ll be glad you did.
Have a great weekend!
