ronald reaganWhen I was younger, my family somehow obtained of a set of CDs containing some of Ronald Reagan’s radio broadcasts made after he was Governor of California but before he became President. In these broadcasts, Ronald Reagan covers many topics. There are talks about our naval base at Guantanamo Bay and soviet satellites; to a hilarious take on hyphenated last names. He was able to cover such a broad range of issues, going into great detail on much of it, and still keep a 12 year old girl interested and able to comprehend what he meant.

That’s what it means to be a great communicator. To be able to discuss something in a way that needs no explanation, in a way that even a child can understand the issues at hand. Below are a few of the quotes that Ronald Reagan, The Great Communicator, was famous for. Simple and pointed, thought proving and descriptive, in a few sentences Ronald Reagan creates for you a visual for what America could be, would be, or might be. He communicates his dream for America, and his love for his God.

Thank you for taking the time to read and remember the 40th President of our United States, Ronald Reagan.
