We continue to recommend Pinterest to many of our clients because it is a fantastic source of website traffic and potential customers. While we do use Pinterest.com to manage the account, there are several additional tools and apps that help our Pinterest marketing succeed.
How I Track Our Pinterest Analytics
Built-In Pinterest Analytics
One of the easiest ways to track your Pinterest stats is through Pinterest’s built-in Analytic tracker. With this handy tool, you can see your site metrics, your most repinned items, most clicked, and much more. Best of all, it is free! To visit your analytics, copy/paste this address into your menu bar, but change the website name: http://www.pinterest.com/source/duoparadigms.com/analytics/
How I Pin Pins
Pinterest Bookmarklet
The easiest way I’ve found to add pins to Pinterest is through Pinterest’ built-in browser bookmarklet. They also have a browser extension that takes up a little less screen real estate.
How I Pin on My Mobile Phone
Pinterest iOS & Android Apps
Nothing beats Pinterest’s stellar mobile app. I use many apps on a daily basis, but Pinterest is one of my favorites. I love being able to update our account anytime, anywhere, thanks to their user-friendly, minimalist interface.
How I Schedule Pins
GoPixel
Currently, I am using GoPixel for scheduling pins, but I have to admit that I’m less than impressed with its reliability. When it works, it is wonderful, but when it doesn’t work, it is annoying knowing that you wasted all that time to schedule pins.
How I Share My Pins
Buffer
At DuoParadigms, we cross-promote our pins on our Facebook & Twitter accounts. To do this, we use Buffer, a wonderful little app. It allows us to queue up our updates and share them periodically during the day automatically.
