One of the hardest things for me to do is to wait.

As entrepreneurs running our own businesses or ministries, being able to pull the trigger and take action just comes naturally to many of us.

We don’t like to wait for the opportunity to find us. Instead, we like to create the opportunity.

But that’s not always God’s plan.

God often calls us to wait, especially when waiting doesn’t always make sense to us.

But I’m discovering that it’s even more important to wait during times like these, because even though I’m waiting, God isn’t.

I can’t see it, but His hidden hand is busy at work, orchestrating events, and preparing me for a future that only He can see.

A.W. Tozer said it best: “God never hurries. There are no deadlines against which He must work. Only to know this is to quiet our spirits and relax our nerves.”
