The “Ten Websites that I Could Never Live Without” Countdown

By September 12, 2013No Comments

I go all over the place on the internet, but it was actually hard to come up with a list of my top 10 “go-to” websites, but here they are! There are a few surprises and a few you may never have heard of before. Of course there are the old standbys too. They are all counting down to THE number one website that I use!

10. BURDASTYLE

I like to sew, I know what you are thinking, “you know you can buy that right?” But can you buy a computer case that is made from your friend’s old skirt, an amazing fabric that you got at an amazing price and two zippers that you bought in Albania for 50 lek? Nope. That’s why I like to sew and this site has a lot of free patterns (and patterns that you can buy) that other people have made and rated!

9. YOUTUBE

I don’t spend much time watching clips on YouTube, but I love the old movies that are uploaded on YouTube!

8. AMAZON

A set of 10 extra bobbins for 35 cents!?!?! Yes, Please! Sometimes, I find myself buying things because they are too cheap to pass up.

7. SHOP.HOBBYLOBBY.COM

I am always trying to price craft supplies and this is the place to do it! (don’t forget to use your 40% off coupon!)

6. ALLRECIPES

If I want to make alfredo sauce, but don’t have cream, I can search for a recipe by ingredients that I have on hand or ingredients that I don’t want to include. The recipes are also rated and reviewed by other cooks!

5. COFFITIVITY

I have a problem. I can’t think if it is too quiet. This website provides unobtrusive background noise, like the “Morning Murmur” of a coffee shop! It works great when I am trying to write a blog post!

4. PANDORA

I love to sing along to anything that I know and I can always have music that I like at Pandora!

3. FACEBOOK

‘nough said.

2. PINTEREST

Oh to sing the praises of Pinterest! What did I do before Pinterest? How did I fritter away my time? What provided my inspiration? What did I do when I had to come up with my own creative ideas? I have no idea!

1. GOOGLE

And here it is! THE number one website that I use! We never realize how much we rely on Google until the default search engine gets accidentally switched.

So now that you have seen my list, what is your favorite website?
